私が医療の世界に身を投じる契機となったのは、2000年初頭に遡ります。外資系コンサルティング会社に勤務していた当時、通院を余儀なくされた私は、医療に関する否定的な報道に触れるなかで、わが国の医療に対する一抹の不安と違和感を抱くようになりました。

医療機関が「安全で安心、質の高い医療の提供」を謳う一方で、報道では「医療事故」「医療訴訟」「医療崩壊」といったネガティブな言葉が頻繁に取り上げられ、医療が果たすべき本来の役割とは異なる方向に引きずられているような違和感を感じました。そうした問題意識と使命感に突き動かされ、私はコンサルティング業界を離れ、医療界へと転身しました。

以来、臨床現場をはじめ、医療従事者、行政機関、患者支援団体、学術機関など、様々なステークホルダーの皆様と共に、わが国が抱える医療課題の解決に向けて取り組んでまいりました。しかしながら、時代の変化とともに新たな課題が顕在化するなか、従来型の対症療法的な対応では限界があると痛感し、医療をより幅広い視野で俯瞰しながら、わが事としてスピード感のある行動が必要と強く感じるようになりました。こうした背景のもと、私は当社代表取締役の重責をお引き受けしました。

当社は、創業から今日まで医療に関する多種多様な情報を活用し、独自の視点をもって「安全で安心、質の高い医療を提供し続ける社会」の実現に努めております。

My journey into the medical field began in the early 2000s. While working for a foreign consulting firm, I was forced to undergo medical treatment myself. Exposure to negative media coverage of healthcare in Japan led me to feel a sense of unease and apprehension about the state of healthcare in our country.

While medical institutions proclaimed "safe, secure, and high-quality medical care," the media frequently featured negative terms such as "medical accidents," "medical lawsuits," and "healthcare collapse," creating a sense of unease that healthcare was being dragged in a direction deviating from its true role. Driven by this awareness of the problem and a sense of mission, I left the consulting industry and transitioned into the medical field.

Since then, I have worked with various stakeholders, including clinical settings, healthcare professionals, government agencies, patient support groups, and academic institutions, to address the medical challenges facing Japan. However, as new challenges emerge with changing times, I have keenly felt the limitations of traditional, symptomatic treatment approaches. I strongly believe that a broader perspective on healthcare is necessary, along with swift action taken as if it were my own responsibility. Against this backdrop, I have accepted the important responsibility of serving as the Representative Director of our company.

Since our founding, our company has utilized a wide variety of information related to medical care and, with its unique perspective, has strived to realize a society that continues to provide safe, secure, and high-quality medical care.
